Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented BIM Modelerto join our award-winning team based in Bangalore, India.


The role would be categorised as a Distance Work contract.


This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure Design team, responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining 3D BIM Models. Working closely with the Disciplines BIM Engineers to assure the 3D design BIM models are meeting the client’s and KEO requirements and quality standards.


We envisage success in this role to include:


  • Developing the 3D models for various wet/dry utilities OR road infrastructure assetsusing Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Preparing and updating plan and profile drawings, sections as per project’s specifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with the project’s BIM Execution Plan, KEO’s standards, Authorities requirements.
  • Collaborating with BIM Engineers, design Engineers to integrate the wet utilities models into the multidisciplinary models.
  • Supporting the BIM engineers in the clash detection and resolution process for the wet utilities networks supporting the multidisciplinary clash resolution.
  • Preparing annotated drawings with dimensions, labels and notes that compliance with the project’s and industry standards using Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Extracting of the 2D drawings including plan and profiles, sections from the Autodesk Civil 3D models.
  • Quality review for 3D Models and 2D drawings to ensure compliance with the project requirements.
  • Supporting the junior 3D modelers in any related Autodesk Civil 3D issues.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a Diploma in Drafting, or any other related subject. We welcome all levels of experience, preferably with 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.


Furthermore, you should demonstrate:


  • Proficiency in software such as Autodesk Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit.
  • Experience in extracting 2D drawings from BIM Models.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
  • Knowledge of the Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360.
  • Knowledge of Dynamo and Lisp is considered as an added value.
  • Fair level of spoken English to participate in coordination discussions and understanding instructions.
