The CATT Manager-Technical  Architect contributes to  architecture and technology strategy of CATT products  and has oversight in design, development, and ongoing maintenance activities for our custom-developed software that is used by internal RSM partners and staff as well as external clients to drive long-term scalability and sustainability of the business for a competitive advantage. To execute their area of responsibility, this role collaborates with staff, product teams, IT, other functional areas within the broader RSM firm, and field offices to ensure we achieve the vision cohesively and effectively.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success leading high-performance teams, strong data analytics capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and a deep passion for the digital transformational journey.  this role you’ll work with the Development team by providing subject matter expertise, across the technology practices and tools.


  • This Job requires prospective candidate to report in RSM US Hyderabad office twice a week.
  • Working hours 2 PM – 11 PM India

Minimum Qualifications


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS


  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field is often preferred.

Relevant Coursework:


  • Strong foundational knowledge in programming languages, databases, and web development concepts
  • Completion of recognized fullstack development bootcamps can be valuable.

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS


  • 8+ years hands-on experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and modern application development
  • Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, clean architecture, and design patterns (Repository, CQRS, Mediator, SAGA, Event Sourcing)
  • Expertise in REST API design, versioning strategies, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures
  • Production experience with key Azure services:
    App Service, AKS, Container Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, Application Insights, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure AD
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, 12-factor applications, stateless design, containerization, and horizontal scaling
  • Experience designing high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions using Azure region pairs, availability zones, and geo-replication
  • Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, authorization code flow, client credentials flow
  • Implementing API security, JWT tokens, certificate-based auth, API Gateway enforcement
  • Practical experience with event-driven architecture
  • Expertise in Azure Service Bus, topics/subscriptions, DLQ handling, message ordering
  • Implementing distributed caching using Azure Cache for Redis, cache-aside, invalidation strategies (TTL, event-based)
  • Strong experience in performance profiling, APM tools, query optimization, and async programming
  • Ability to analyze and articulate architecture trade-offs (cost, complexity, performance, build vs buy)
  • Experience writing Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and communicating decisions to stakeholders
  • Ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers

EXPERIENCE


  • 8+ years of proven experience in fullstack development
  • Hands-on experience on C#.Net Core and micro services architecture using containerization technologies.
  • Hands-on experience on ORM tools such as Entity Framework, NHibernate etc.
  • Hands-on-On experience on Redis
  •  experience on typescript/JavaScript skills and any front-end UI framework like React, Angular, VueJs

  • Experience in team collaboration – Required. 
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills – Required. 
  • Exceptional analytical and process development skills - Required.
