Key Tasks & responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, focusing on workflow optimization and automation.• Develop and maintain Jenkins shared libraries and plugins using Groovy.• Create and maintain automated scripts and tools using Python to enhance CI/CD processes.• Integrate software quality tools & testing frameworks into the CI/CD pipelines.• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.• Monitor pipeline health and performance, implementing improvements as needed.• Collaborate with development teams to integrate their projects into the CI/CD system.• Document CI/CD workflows, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.Minimum education requirements and experience• Bachelor Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of commercial experience, Master Science with 3 years of experience, or PhD with 1 year of experience.• Expertise in CI/CD Principles & DevOps Technologies.• Proficiency with CI Systems like Jenkins, Gitlab CI or even GitHub Actions.Required qualifications & skills• Pipeline / Workflow development (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions)• Experience interacting with REST APIs (e.g., GitHub, Artifactory) & other services• Advanced git usage for continuous integration & developer tooling support• Experience in Linux system administration (networking: proxy, dns, users, permissions, etc.)Recommended qualifications & skills• Proficiency using Python, Bash & other scripting languages.• Build & maintenance of containers (e.g., docker or LXC).• Experience in Windows system administration.• Software Architecture familiarity.• Familiarity of markup/config languages (e.g., JSON, YAML or XML).• Experience with Agile working model (Scrum).Sought after soft skills• Strong communication and collaboration skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Great problem-solving and analytical skills.• Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset• Continuous learning mindset• Mentoring experience
