Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, cloud security, and vulnerability management. This role involves managing security of production cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain a secure and efficient cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Security Posture Management:
- monitor and enhance the organization's cloud security posture.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
2. Vulnerability Management:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans.
- Collaborate with development, engineering, and infrastructure teams to address vulnerabilities and implement remediation plans.
3. Cloud Security & Native Services:
- Work with securing cloud-native services such as EKS, ECS, and Docker to ensure secure deployment and operations.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud security trends and best practices.
4. Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare weekly vulnerability and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of security issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on security posture and compliance status.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT security/ SOC incident response / Cloud Security roles and experience working in the Information Security Department
- Strong expertise in AWS and cloud infrastructure management security tools like GuardDuty, CloudTrail.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Wiz, Qualys and Splunk)
- Familiarity with PCI compliance standards and reporting.
- Knowledge of securing cloud-native services like EKS, ECS, and Docker.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in AWS, cloud security, or related fields (e.g., AWS security specialty, Certified Cloud Security Professional - CCSP).

- Experience with automation tools and scripting for cloud operations.
