Commercial Operations Analyst

Job Description


Opportunity Summary 


Our team is growing! We’re looking for a Commercial Operations Analyst to join our team and help expand the capabilities of our Commercial Operations team. Commercial Operations is tasked with creating trusted partnerships with our Sales and Rev Ops teams, enhancing the selling experience both internally and externally, and creating actionable insights to drive future business strategy. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, analytically curious, with a high business acumen and a passion for process improvement.


In this role you can expect to 


  • Support and enhance salesforce automation systems, reporting tools, and sales enablement processes to effectively monitor and improve the sales experience


  • Analyze and report on special pricing requests, bookings data, deal structuring, support requests, and selling/buying behavior


  • Update and maintain recurring reports, conduct data cleaning efforts to ensure accuracy, and distribute findings to necessary stakeholders


  • Collaborate with operational teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, support the design of new or improved processes and maintain process documentation 


  • Conduct analysis and provide KPI reporting to Sales leadership and executives including insights around key trends  


  • Ensure proper implementation of new Salesforce processes by partnering with IT to build requirements and conducting diligent UAT testing


  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with critical business partners (e.g., Sales, Finance, Rev Ops) to ensure alignment and streamlined deal processes 


  • Maintain a repository of deal support assets, proposals, process documentation, sales reports, and associated tools  


  • Help guide on pricing and discount structures that both optimize revenue and provide value to the customers 


  • Identify potential training opportunities and work with Enablement to develop & deliver sales tools and resources 


  • Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed 


About You


  • 4+ years of business-related experience preferably with a technology company 


  • 2+ years experience with Salesforce. Admin experience preferred.


  • 2+ years experience with Power BI or similar analytical tools


  • Familiarity with Google Suite is a plus


  • Experience designing and implementing policies, processes, and tools to provide operations support for sales activities


  • Experience using data and analysis to develop proposals for process changes and enabling sales activities


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to effectively communicate with Sales teams and senior management 


  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment while managing deadlines 


  • Organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and persistent 


  • Preference to those with understanding of subscription, software, or tech B2B business models


  • Mastery in English and local language.
