Lead execution of all civil works for solar projects including piling / module mounting foundations, inverter room foundations, control room buildings, internal roads, drainage systems, and fencing.
Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project schedules.
Develop work sequencing and construction methodology to support fast-track solar EPC delivery.
Manage multiple civil contractors for foundations, roads, buildings, and balance-of-plant (BOP) works.
Monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance of contractors.
Ensure adequate manpower, equipment, and materials are deployed to meet project milestones.
Coordinate closely with electrical, mechanical, and module mounting teams to ensure civil works are completed in line with solar installation schedules.
Align foundation and road readiness with tracker / MMS installation plans.
Review and implement ITPs, method statements, and construction drawings.
Ensure proper testing of concrete, soil compaction, pile load tests, and structural stability of foundations.
Ensure compliance with IS codes, client standards, and solar project specifications.
Enforce strict HSE compliance across all civil activities.
Implement safe excavation, piling, and concreting practices.
Ensure environmental compliance related to soil management, drainage, and site restoration.
Monitor daily and weekly progress against EPC schedules.
Identify delays in foundations, roads, or buildings and implement recovery plans.
Control costs through efficient material usage, contractor performance, and optimized construction methods.
Resolve site issues such as soil variability, pile refusal, water logging, access constraints, or drawing mismatches.
Provide technical and managerial solutions to avoid impact on solar module installation timelines.
Ensure completion of quality records, cube test results, pile test reports, and as-built drawings.
Support civil completion and handover for module mounting and commissioning stages.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
10–22 years of experience in solar, renewable, EPC, or large infrastructure projects.
Solar foundation systems (piles, micro piles, pedestals, RCC foundations)
Roads, drainage, inverter and control room buildings
Contractor & EPC coordination
HSE and Quality Management
Primavera / MS Project / AutoCAD (preferred)
Full-time site-based role at solar project locations (large solar parks, remote sites).
Travel between sites during execution phases.
