As an Associate, Control Manager within the Corporate Finance team within the Office of the CFO, you will execute and lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of controls.


Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and distribute various reports, metrics, dashboards on a daily and or weekly cadence. Reports will be published to key senior stakeholders including Control Managers across FCM
  • Respond to ad hoc inquiries on a span of reports produced and in the pipeline
  • Host and or attend forums to drive awareness of actions required and provide clarity where needed
  • Partner with Control Managers across functions within Corporate Finance on inquiries/consultation and support ad hoc requests, inquiries & projects
  • Resolve issues through an evolving environment of change in implementing the Operating Model
  • Document key activities alongside ownership on tasks performed
  • Work and structure complex data sets to provide clear visibility by risk or priority
  • Partner effectively with senior leadership and communicate with a senior audience (written and verbal)
  • Work independently and adapt to a dynamic working environment 
  • Be able to articulate legal obligations is a plus (not a must)

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 
  • Automation experience is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data analytics, automation solutions (Alteryx), reporting dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) 
  • Business knowledge – fast learner with the ability to grasp Finance concepts 
  • Project management skillset – ability to coordinate collection of data from various sources and partners timely and in an organized manner; including taking ownership of the project and results
  • Communication/presentation – excellent written and verbal communication skills; including preparing presentations and reports, with an ability to communicate and present to management in a clear and meaningful manner
  • Problem solving / Analytical skills – solid critical thinking. Ability to review and challenge data, metrics and problems and formulate appropriate action items and solutions that are then driven to completion 
  • Work autonomously – flexible, adaptable to shifting priorities, manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective result and able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
  • Networking – strong interpersonal skills; strong collaboration and relationship building skills
