Key Responsibilities:
- Implement workflows for data discovery, classification, lineage, and auditing.
- Evaluate and classify both structured and unstructured data assets.
- Develop and support information governance policies and processes.
- Support data classification for regulatory audits and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architect and leverage data discovery, cataloging, and governance tools.
- Ensure proper management and governance of information assets.
- Support the data classification process involving attestation and verification of data assets in collaboration with data owners (transactional state of data) and product owners (transformed state data for analytics).
- Support the data governance process in data product lifecycle management for enterprise analytics data platforms (data onboarding, data classification, attestation, deployment, metadata management).
- Promote best practices for data protection using tagging, security policies, and data security (object-level, column-level, row-level) in data platforms.
- Promote and apply best practices for data catalogs and metadata management for systems within your scope.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, data preparation, and data classification.
Proficiency in tools like Informatica, Snowflake, Tableau, and ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
Experience with Machine Learning and Advanced analytics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Good understanding of working with companies having regulated systems and processes for data.
Experience with metadata management for data platforms and reporting systems like Snowflake, SAP HANA, Tableau, Cognos Analytics, TM1 Planning Analytics.
Experience with metadata management tools like Informatica On-premises (EIC), Informatica Cloud (IDMC), Collibra, Alation.
