This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 2 years Location: Bengaluru, Gurugram JobType: full-time As a Development Representative (Sales) for the Southeast Asia market, you will drive outbound sales initiatives by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers.
This role is critical to building a high-quality sales pipeline by connecting with enterprise decision-makers across the SEA region and enabling the sales team with well-qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting: Identify and engage prospects across Southeast Asia through cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels to initiate sales conversations.
Lead Qualification: Understand customer pain points, business requirements, and buying processes to convert leads into sales-ready opportunities.
Market Research: Track industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics within the Southeast Asia region to support targeted outreach.
CRM Management: Accurately record and maintain all prospecting activities, leads, and opportunities using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure smooth lead handovers and improved conversion rates.
Pipeline Contribution: Consistently meet or exceed activity, qualification, and lead generation targets aligned with overall sales objectives.
Experience & Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales/Business Development Representative supporting the Southeast Asia market in a B2B SaaS environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and enterprise decision-makers.
Goal-oriented, self-driven, and capable of managing priorities independently.
Proven experience with outbound prospecting methods including cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach .
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
Strong research and analytical skills to uncover customer needs and business challenges.
