DevOps Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and pipeline-as-code practices.
• Migrate and modernise legacy CI/CD pipelines into reusable and scalable GitHub Actions workflows.
• Automate manual operational processes (including ServiceNow requests) to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Build and maintain multi-stage Docker images and manage containerised applications using Kubernetes and Helm.
• Deploy, scale, and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure and manage Jenkins nodes and GitHub Runners to enable distributed and parallel builds.
• Implement infrastructure automation and scripting using Python, Shell, and Terraform.
• Manage and support cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP, including VM lifecycle management, storage accounts, snapshots, and blob storage.
• Perform tool installations, upgrades, and maintenance (SonarQube, Artifactory/JFrog, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Develop automation scripts using APIs (GitHub, Jira) for governance, reporting, dashboards, and repository management.
• Work closely with development, QA, and business teams to support bi-weekly and continuous release cycles.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues across environments (Dev, QA, Stage, Perf, Prod).
• Contribute to security improvements, PoCs, and best practices across CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity, automation, and code quality.

• Up to 7 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure support.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins
  • Version Control: Git, GitHub
  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure (preferred), GCP
  • Automation & Scripting: Python, Shell (Bash)
  • Build Tools: Maven, Node.js
  • Code Quality & Artefacts: SonarQube, JFrog/Artifactory
  • Monitoring & Visualisation: Grafana
• Experience with pipeline-as-code and reusable workflow design.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and containerised environments.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible).
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and client requirements.

• Experience with large-scale enterprise migrations and multi-application CI/CD standardisation.
• Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting high-traffic retail or e-commerce platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
