Key Responsibilities Operate VTOL drones for surveying, mapping, inspection, and monitoring assignments across varied terrains and project sites Plan and execute drone missions, including pre-flight checks, flight path planning, and post-flight reviews Ensure accurate and consistent data collection in line with project requirements and quality standards Handle payloads such as cameras, sensors, and mapping equipment efficiently Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of drones and related equipment Maintain detailed flight logs, mission reports, and operational documentation Ensure strict adherence to DGCA guidelines, aviation regulations, and safety protocols Coordinate with GIS, surveying, and data processing teams to align flight outputs with project goals Assess environmental and operational risks before and during flight operations Support testing, demonstrations, and pilot projects for new drone platforms or payloads Stay updated with advancements in VTOL drone technology and unmanned aviation practices What Makes You a Great Fit Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a professional Drone Pilot Proven expertise in operating VTOL drones, including take-off, landing, and transition flight modes Strong understanding of flight planning, airspace awareness, and mission execution Familiarity with surveying, mapping, inspection, or geospatial data collection workflows Knowledge of DGCA regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements Ability to perform under field conditions with high attention to safety and precision Basic technical understanding of drone hardware, sensors, and onboard systems Strong documentation and reporting skills Good coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams Willingness to travel within NCR and nearby project locations as required Proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
