Embedded Systems Team Lead Location: Bangalore, India Workplace Type: Onsite About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Systems Team Lead to join our dynamic engineering team in Bangalore.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of embedded developers in the design, development, and testing of embedded systems for our next-generation products.

Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Design, develop, and test embedded software for ARM-based microcontrollers, primarily Renesas and NXP controllers.
Oversee the development of bare-metal firmware and low-level drivers.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers, to define system requirements and specifications.
Troubleshoot and debug complex embedded systems issues using tools such as Eclipse IDE and Wireshark.
Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, architectural diagrams, and test plans.
Participate in the re-engineering, cross-assembler work, and code migration efforts.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in embedded systems development.
Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
5 to 12 years of experience in embedded development, including 3+ years in embedded systems and at least 3 years in a team lead role.
Strong Embedded C/C++ programming experience.
Bare-metal development experience.
Familiarity with assembly code, preferably on 8051.
Strong debugging and re-engineering skills.
Hands-on experience with ARM-based Microcontrollers, preferably with Renesas and NXP controllers.
Experience with Eclipse IDE, Wireshark, and crash/core dump analysis.
Experience in C++ application development on Linux, C# .
NET, Industrial/product-level embedded exposure, Python scripting for debugging.
Experience in re-engineering, cross-assembler work, and code migration work.
Demonstrated experience in drafting technical documentation, including design specifications, and architectural diagrams.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
Experience with version control systems (e.
g., Git). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
