Job Description Summary :



The Engineer is responsible for design and development of Water and Wastewater products. This role involves working Independently with the little guidance of experienced engineers, conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to the optimization of production processes.




Duties & Responsibilities :



Create CAD Drawings and 3D models of Engineered Products, including overall layout, General Arrangement, Assembly and Fabrication Drawings (for Sheet metal & Structural) for each project



Being able to understand Project requirement and ability to read and understand Complex Design and Drawing Document



Design of Primary and Secondary Clarifier Product by referring Proposal Document, Civil Drawing, Client GA, Site Mark-up Document



Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system



Update the Model / GA Drawing based on the Mark-up Comments.



Create and Update the database for the executed Job including Drawings generated for future reference



Preparing write up on ECN or DCN ; Modify and Improve the Modeling process in existing approach to reduce the Modeling Time.



Provide timely communications to significant issues.



Collaborate with Project Engineers to address technical decision, coordinate work and execute product development plan



Take direction from Team Lead / Manager to perform



Contributes as a team member in the development of projects carrying out assigned responsibilities in a timely, diligent, safe and professional manner



Ensures a safe, healthy and environmentally-friendly workplace by observing company’s procedure.



Ensuring the Quality of the Design and Services




Requirements :



Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering



Autocad certification (professional or expert) must



Autodesk Inventor certification (professional or expert) must



I-Logic Knowledge (professional or expert) must



Vault or PLM & PDM experience must




Professional Requirements :



5 to 7 years 3D CAD (Inventor) and Autocad experience must.



Candidates who have worked in Water Treatment Industries, Effluent Treatment Plant are preferable



Experienced in Preparing 2D GA drawing of Bio Processes



Experienced in designing of structural components like Pier assemblies, Cage assemblies, Truss assemblies, Platform assemblies etc,, Tank weldment assemblies for PBio Processess



Experienced in Preparing Preliminary Bill of Material based 2D GA
