Android Application and Framework development: Job responsibilities also include Android application/native software development across different subsystems of mobile device, requirements definition & planning, design, test, debug and competitive analysis.
On-Device AI Integration: Implement on-device AI frameworks and libraries to enable real-time AI processing, ensuring efficient utilization of device resources.
Off-Device AI Infrastructure: Architect and maintain scalable infrastructure for off-device AI processing, leveraging cloud services and distributed computing techniques.
Performance Optimization: Optimize AI algorithms and workflows to achieve optimal performance on mobile devices while balancing computational resources and battery life.
Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ideate and implement AI-powered features that enhance user experiences.
Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and contribute to research initiatives aimed at driving innovation in mobile AI solutions.

Requirements:
Essential:
B.E/M.S/M.Tech with CGP 3.2+/4 in the field of Computer Science/Engineering or related field
Experience of 2+ years in Android software development.
Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Android development.
Proficiency in Java, Kotlin or Python with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, Data structures & algorithms.
Design and develop features for Android applications with Android Jetpack compose, databases like ROOM & DI. Also that leverage cloud solutions (e.g., Firebase, AWS Mobile Hub, Azure App Service).
Strong understanding of Android development principles. In-depth knowledge of the Android Framework architecture and its core components.
Deep dive into the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) codebase and contribute to core framework components.
Develop new features and functionalities within the Android Framework, ensuring stability, performance, and efficiency.
Strong problem analysis and debugging skills with passion for innovation and a drive to create impactful software solutions.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, product management, etc.) to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, advancements in Android development and the broader mobile landscape.
Experience with Android development tools (Android Studio, SDK, etc.) and debugging techniques (adb, systrace, etc.).
Desirable:
Design and develop AI functionalities for mobile applications using machine learning, deep learning, or other relevant AI techniques.
Integrate pre-trained AI models or develop custom models from scratch for the mobile app. Optimize AI models for performance and efficiency on mobile devices.
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts (supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning) and their application in mobile development.
Experience with popular AI frameworks (TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile, Core ML).
Experience with cloud platforms for AI model training and deployment.
Knowledge of interfacing with Google Cloud Services / Amazon Web services.
Knowledge of Windows based application development
Strong sense of System Architecture as it relates to mobile apps
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application in software development.
Working experience on integration of LLMs to applications
