This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 100000 - Rs 300000 (ie INR 1-3 LPA) Min Experience: 2 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time Key Responsibilities Handle end-to-end import and export documentation , including Bills of Lading (BL), Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin (COO), and related trade documents.
Prepare, process, and submit import Letter of Credit (L/C) applications to banks; review export L/Cs and initiate amendments when required.
Coordinate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and agents to ensure timely and accurate documentation and shipping compliance.
Track shipment status and proactively update sales teams and customers on delivery timelines.
Review import shipping documents to ensure full compliance with contractual terms and regulatory requirements.
Prepare export documentation in strict adherence to L/C conditions and customer specifications.
Monitor and follow up on customer payments as per L/C terms or agreed commercial arrangements.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of all trade-related documents to support smooth operations.
Experience & Qualifications Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in import/export or trade operations, with strong expertise in trade documentation.
Sound understanding of documentary credits (L/Cs) and international trade processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural and multinational teams .
Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
