Job description

Job Description

The Finance Transformation Change & Project Manager leads key Finance initiatives by combining strong project management discipline with effective organizational change and communication skills. The role manages end‑to‑end project delivery—from planning and execution to risk management and stakeholder alignment—while also driving change adoption through clear communication, training, and engagement strategies. This position ensures that transformation programs are delivered on time, with minimal disruption, and with the business fully prepared to adopt new processes, systems, and ways of working.

Responsibilities :

  1. Project Management: Plan, execute, and deliver finance-related projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, EIT, and external vendors (eg PwC) to align project objectives and expectations. Partner with project teams to translate complex transformation updates into digestible, audience-appropriate formats.
  3. Risk & Compliance: Ensure projects align with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk mitigation frameworks.
  4. Change Management: Develop and execute communication strategies to support Finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and change management best practices. Draft, review, and edit communications for clarity, tone, grammar, and adherence to brand and template standards.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs to assess project success and business impact.
  6. Issue Resolution: Identify project risks and roadblocks, and lead mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.
  7. Reporting: Provide regular updates to leadership through dashboards, reports, and presentations.
  8. Leadership & Associate Engagement: Create compelling presentations and messaging for Finance leadership to socialize changes with their teams including content for Finance Townhalls.
  9. Intranet & Content Management:
  10. Own and maintain the Finance intranet site, including page design, content updates, news feed refreshes, and access control.

What does Success mean for this role?

  1. On-Time, On-Budget Delivery: Projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets, with minimal scope creep.
  2. Milestone Achievement: Key project milestones—planning, design, implementation, testing, and go-live—are met according to schedule.
  3. High Quality: Project outcomes meet business requirements and pass toll gates
  4. Clear Communication: Stakeholders across Finance, EIT, vendors (e.g. PwC) and leadership are well-informed and aligned throughout the project.
  5. Benefits Realization: Project benefits are tracked, reported, and aligned with initial business cases or ROI targets.

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2+ years focused on finance-related projects.
  3. Solid understanding of financial processes across O2C/P2P/R2R.
  4. Familiarity with change management principles and training development best practices.
  5. Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent).
  6. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to work effectively across business and technical teams.
  7. Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.
  8. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
  2. Familiarity with financial transformation programs, shared services, or automation projects (e.g., RPA).
