Job Objective For overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and internal controls.
Providing strategic financial guidance and implementing sound financial practices.
Essential Job Tasks Implementation of the company's accounting policies and processes, and complying with taxation, commercial, and statutory norms.
Account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet analysis, and weekly and monthly financial reporting.
Areas of Responsibility • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), for senior management and corporate headquarters.
• Monitor cash flow projections and liquidity requirements, optimize cash resources, and implement cash management strategies to ensure adequate funding for pre-opening activities and ongoing operations.
• Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Develop and recommend financial strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and mentor finance team members, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster their professional development and ensure high performance.
