As a Frontend Developer at Kraftshala, you will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to build fast, reliable, and scalable web applications. Your primary focus will be on developing user-facing features in React, ensuring excellent performance across platforms, and owning end-to-end delivery of frontend projects.
This role suits someone who combines strong JavaScript fundamentals with product thinking, attention to detail, and comfort in taking ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
Build and ship user-facing features using React.js.Metrics to measure: Feature delivery timelines, defect rates post-release, and adoption/usage of shipped features.
Translate designs and product requirements into clean, reusable code. Metrics to measure: Design-to-code accuracy, reusability of components, and review feedback from design and product teams.
Own frontend architecture for speed, scalability, and maintainability. Metrics to measure: Page load times, Lighthouse scores, and technical debt reduction over time.
Ensure cross-platform responsiveness and mobile performance. Metrics to measure: Performance benchmarks across browsers/devices and mobile usability scores.
Optimize web components for performance and reliability. Metrics to measure: Bundle size, render times, and reduction in performance-related bugs.
Independently own large frontend projects end-to-end. Metrics to measure: On-time delivery, clarity of technical documentation, and stability of releases..
Ownership & Accountability: An A-player takes full ownership of frontend outcomes from idea to production, whereas a B-player limits responsibility to assigned tickets.
Code Quality & Craft: An A-player consistently writes clean, scalable, and well-documented code, whereas a B-player prioritizes speed over long-term maintainability.
