Job Description

Job Title: Geotechnical Helpers
Number of Positions: 5

Salary:1200 AED

Job Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trucks to move and set up drilling rigs and related equipment for geotechnical exploration test borings.
  • Assist in the operation of drilling rigs to drill holes as per the project requirements.
  • Collect samples of drilled cuttings for analysis during the exploration process.
  • Receive samples, assign request numbers and sample numbers, and ensure proper documentation by maintaining sample registers.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment properly to ensure smooth and safe operations.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure adherence to workplace safety standards.
Essential Qualifications:
  • No formal education required; prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to handle physical labor involving loading, unloading, and working with equipment.
Skills Required:
  • Must be physically capable of performing manual labor for extended periods, including lifting, moving, and handling equipment.
  • Able to work collaboratively with engineers, drill operators, and other team members.
  • Must be able to accurately log samples and maintain registers.
  • Basic understanding of operating and maintaining drilling rigs and related equipment is preferred.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work in various locations as per project demands.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to ensure project timelines are met.
