Role and Responsibilities


The position will be a strategic business partner to JXO, Cross BU, JFO team. The position acts as a true and valued advisor to the senior management team to enable business transformation and growth by driving and delivering Juniper people strategies in India business context.  The position reports to HR Sr Director, Juniper India. 


The Ideal Candidate


The ideal candidate will be able to understand critical business index and industry competition scenarios. The person will translate business challenges and opportunities into human resource priorities and deliverables, especially organization and culture shift. The person will contribute and execute at both hands-on and strategic levels as we scale our business. 


The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence others into actions and to think creatively about HR total solutions. The right person for this role must have a passion for the business and be self-driven to accomplish and meet objectives and key results, in delivering smart people insights, supporting an inclusive and diverse workforce, and shaping ecosystem to develop next generation talents. The position will be partnering with the business leaders to continuously build leader effectiveness, an aligned organization structure and the talents pipeline for transformed business. He/She will be leading as an example our culture of high performance and accountability.


The ideal candidate will keep a pulse on the people and initiate and drive through with managers the employee engagement actions for business productivity. The ideal candidate will provide HR support in India site activities and events. 


The role requires deep partnership with regional and global HR partners and CoEs and shall be adept at cross-functional partnership, connections and communications. 


Experience and Skills Required


Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 


  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive human resources experience in the tech industry, ideally as a HR Business Partner. 
  • Experienced in HR Business Partnering; with overall understanding of human resources functions, including compensation & benefits, recruitment and other COE functions
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proven ability to build relationships with, as well as advice and influence across all levels.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven project management, organizational, diagnostic and analytical skills. 
  • Must thrive in a fast paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing are required. 
  • Demonstrated integrity while working with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Strong data orientation for analysis
  • Ability to accommodate occasional business travel.
