Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Big Data Management (BDM) Engineer with a strong emphasis on software development, design, and data management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in big data technologies, security implementations, and working in Agile and DevOps environments. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the design and development of robust data solutions while ensuring compliance and security standards are met.
Software Requirements:
- Proficient in Informatica Big Data Management (BDM)
- Strong understanding of data management principles and practices
- Familiarity with data security and compliance regulations
Overall Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and implement data solutions using Informatica BDM.
- Develop and manage Oozie workflows, HQL, Hive queries, and HDFS data partitioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of technical architecture and design.
- Implement security measures and conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in existing architectures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in a distributed services ecosystem, ensuring resiliency and performance.
- Maintain documentation of design and implementation processes, security protocols, and compliance measures.

Day-to-Day Activities:
- Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design data solutions.
- Develop Informatica BDM processes and workflows.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Work with security teams to address vulnerabilities and enhance existing security measures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and retrospectives.

Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
