What You’ll Do


  • Execute tasks leveraging domain expertise in ServiceNow development, with a focus on ITSM and ITOM modules.


  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of organizational processes and platform capabilities.


  • Analyze and resolve a range of moderately complex issues using established policies, ITIL best practices, and platform governance standards.


  • Operate with moderate supervision, following structured procedures and development guidelines.


  • Perform a variety of routine and semi-complex assignments across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, SAM, HAM, HRSD, GBS and Employee Center.


  • Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.


  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.


What You’ll Need


  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and platform configuration.


  • Proven experience in implementing and supporting ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules, including Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, and Service Mapping.


  • Proficiency in designing and maintaining integrations using REST, SOAP, and other web technologies (HTTP, AJAX, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).


  • Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C++).


  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, Node.js, jQuery, Apache Jelly, or React.


  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.


  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.


  • Experience in developing and deploying ServiceNow applications and modules including Employee Center, SAM, HAM, HRSD, and ITSM.


  • Create and implement Business rules, UI Actions, UI Policies, and Client Scripts for various applications in ServiceNow.


  •  Develop strategies for identifying issues and gaps for various modules in ITSM and ITOM areas.


  • Experienced in various phases of Event Management which includes configuring Event Mapping Rules, Event Transform Rules, and Alert Rules.


  • Experienced in customizing Email Notifications, Inbound Email Actions, Reports, and Dashboards.


  • Implemented integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs. Experienced in creating homepages and dashboards for stakeholders.


  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code; debug and optimize for performance and scalability.


  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.


  • Working knowledge of ITIL framework and its application within ServiceNow.


Desirable Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


  • ServiceNow Certifications (at least two of the following preferred):


    • Certified System Administrator


    • Certified Application Developer


    • Certified Implementation Specialist (SAM, HAM, HRSD, or ITSM)


  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Workday, SAP, or Microsoft Entra.


  • Understanding of ITIL processes and service management principles.
