The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT operations, troubleshooting, system administration, and technology support, ensuring smooth and secure day-to-day IT functioning across the organization.
This role requires a strong technical foundation, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Manage, monitor, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and enterprise software tools.
Ensure data security, system integrity, and compliance with internal IT policies and best practices.
Monitor system performance, identify issues proactively, and implement corrective or preventive measures.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and support of IT hardware and software.
Maintain IT documentation, including asset inventories, system configurations, SOPs, and user guides.
Support user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access management, and IT asset allocation.
Assist in backup management, data recovery processes, and basic disaster recovery planning.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand IT requirements and recommend effective technical solutions.
Required Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and end-user computing.
Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and common enterprise software.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Familiarity with IT security practices, access controls, antivirus tools, and data protection standards.
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.
Experience working with ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
Good documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3–6 years of relevant experience in IT support, IT operations, or system administration roles.
Industry certifications (e.
g., Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL) are a plus.
