UI/UX Designer - Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in corporate UI/UX design.
• Strong understanding of core visual design principles - typography, iconography, color theory, composition, and layout.
• Work closely with the Global Marketing / Branding team to ensure UI/UX designs are compliant and approved in line with the global brand strategy, design governance process, and DSV’s digital experience framework.
• Collaborate effectively with Business, Product, and Development teams to shape and deliver a unified design vision and strategy.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Product Managers.
• Create and present storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design concepts.
• Practice an iterative, user-centered design approach to deliver best-in-class outputs across all phases of the UX design lifecycle.
• Lead discovery sessions and brainstorming workshops to conceptualize design ideas and identify improvements.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes that clearly demonstrate site or feature functionality and user interaction.
• Present concepts, ideas, and potential solutions to stakeholders and senior management; implement feedback effectively.
• Actively participate in UX testing, analyse results, and refine designs based on insights.
• Stay up to date with UX trends, usability standards, and emerging design practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX/UI issues, including responsiveness and accessibility challenges.
• Proficiency in UX collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Miro, or similar.
• Proven experience in designing for mobile (Android and iOS) and responsive web platforms.
• Demonstrable portfolio showcasing understanding of UX principles, UI best practices, and overall usability focus.
Desirable Skills:
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience in animation, video editing, or storyboarding is an added advantage.
