In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Thorough Networking Knowledge:


    Networking concepts for LAN, WLAN and WAN



    Able to setup HUB ROOM



    CCNA certified



    Lab Network Setup Requirements and Purchases:


    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand lab requirements for setup and testing



    Evaluate hardware and software needs for lab environments. Setup LAN Segmented 



    Coordinate the procurement and network setup at LAB inline with Emerson standards



    Techno-Commercial Requirement


    Procurement related activities for any and all IT related purchases by BU



    Validation of ITSS invoice, co-ordination with global teams like ITSS, Documentation of IT data



    Communication and Coordination:


    Work closely with BU Team and other IT teams.



    Communicate effectively to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations.



    Document changes and updates for team awareness.



    Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.



    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.



    Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.



    Team Player:


    Participate in team meetings, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive work environment.



    Implement security best practices for VMware environments.



    Information Security and Compliance:


    Knowledge on endpoint security compliance and internal policies.



    Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.



    Familiarity with ITIL processes.



    Asset Management and Tracking:


    Ensure Up to date database of NETWORK Devices, Contracts in GAMS; Timely and Proactive replacement of devices as per Emerson standards



    Vendor Co-ordination


    Co-ordinate with vendors for IT purchase, L1 negotiation



    Managing HPC Setup in co-ordination with Vendor


    Monitor and Manage HPC Setup at EICP, Communication to users about updates/upgrades/modifications, Track and Timely update of Hardware/Software AMC, Work closely with vendor

For This Role, You Will Need:
    • Network Management: Administer LAN/WLAN setups and monitor WAN links for reliability and performance.


    • HPC Administration: Ensure 100% uptime, security, and optimal performance of High-Performance Computing systems.


    • Collaboration: Work closely with Emerson Global Enterprise IT and cross-functional teams to align with enterprise standards.


    • Projects & Vendor Coordination: Lead local and enterprise IT projects while coordinating with vendor partners to meet SLAs.


    • Network Assets Inventory, Managing Contracts / AMC, timely renewal of AMCs
