Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to oversee the design, development, and implementation of robust Java-based solutions. This role is integral to delivering high-quality, reliable software that meets client requirements and organizational standards. The Lead Java Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure that solutions adhere to best practices in architecture, security, and performance, supporting Synechron’s strategic objectives in innovative and efficient technology delivery.

• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end systems.

• Experience with containerization and cloud deployment is preferred.

  
  

• Alternative experience: Extensive development success in related roles, with demonstrated leadership and technical proficiency.

  
  

Day-to-Day Activities

• Architect and lead the development of Java solutions for complex client requirements.

  
  

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

  
  

• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to coordinate development efforts.

  
  

• Analyze technical issues, provide timely resolutions, and optimize system performance.

  
  

• Mentor junior developers, support their technical growth, and facilitate knowledge sharing.

  
  

• Review system architecture and contribute to establishing technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  
  

• Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) preferred.

  
  

• Proven experience in leading Java development projects and teams.
