Inviting applications for the role of Lead Associate, Firmware Engineer!

Firmware Engineer is primarily responsible to learns the practical application of engineering principal and will work with a cross-functional team to deliver/maintain the firmware design for medical device. He/She need to lead the new technology introduction, problem investigation, platform definition, practical design, and verification/validation.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Medical systems particularly in CT (Computed Tomography)

  
  

• Identify legacy items still dependent on code residing in clearcase

  
  

• Migrate all remaining clearcase code to Gitlab environment and integrate artifact delivery to latest process

  
  

• Migrate CT applications to latest VxWorks 7 platform and test with seamless integration and delivery into existing products

  
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams after identifying dependencies to perform effective migrations managing all dependencies

  
  

• Take ownership of tasks and deliver, submitting merge requests while helping team members through programming and code reviews

  
  

• Perform impact assessment, document verification plans, and organize/execute formal code verification for releases

  
  

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or in related STEM Major

  
  

• Relevant experience in C/C++ domain & also in embedded software development

  
  

• Experience successfully migrating code bases from clearcase to Gitlab environment and testing for effective migration

  
  

• Experience with build pipelines, build infrastructure, and formal verification test execution and planning

  
  

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• C, C++, Shell Scripting, Linux Internal, FreeRTOS/VxWorks.

  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  
  

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
