Here’s What You Need

Project design, execution, calculation and design of electrical systems consists of – 

• Load summary, 
• Sizing of power equipment, DG sets, UPS – Static & Rotary.
• Cables sizing and schedules.
• Design of earthing and grounding as per IS 3043 / IEC 60364.
• Illumination calculation for clean room areas for normal and emergency lighting using DiaLUX Evo/ AGI32.
• Lightning Protection assessment as per IEC 60305.
• Design of electrical SLDs with protection schemes for distribution networks for Medium and Low Voltage systems. 

Apart from technical knowledge, electrical engineers need to be able to lead projects multitask and fulfill deliverable commitments. The main expectations from project aspects are –

• Attend meetings with clients and identify their requirements.
• Propose systems and schemes.
• Prepare design specifications and tender documents for various electrical services, contract etc. estimation of contractor MTO and project costing.
• Layout drawings review for lighting, power, equipment, ELV services, Cable containment, using 3D Revit Navis works.
• Good Knowledge of IS / IEC / BS / NEC standards.
• Liaising and coordination with other inter departments in the design.
• Able to communicate with clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Tracking and monitoring progress of the job.

Here's what you'll need

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Electrical Engineering. (Required)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering design of building electrical systems. (Required)
• Experience in application of IEC and applicable local building/specialty codes. (Required)
• Excellent English; written and spoken. (Required)
• Extensive experience in design of semiconductor or other advanced manufacturing facilities. (Preferred)
• Experience in semiconductor Tool Install and Data Centre Design. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of ATEX requirements. (Preferred)

SOFTWARE SKILLS

Work proficiency of following software is required from a candidate –

• ETAP / SKM / Easy Power or equivalent for electrical power system studies.
• Dia-Lux Evo/ or equivalent for lighting calculation.
• AutoCAD / Revit 
• Navisworks
• Good computer literacy.
