The Lead Software developer should be able to, Lead the design and development of software solutions based on clinical and internal prototype requirements Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and support knowledge sharing across the team Communicate effectively and clearly explain technical concepts in both online and in-person settings with internal and external partners Manage, prioritize, and contribute to multiple prototype topics simultaneously, adapting quickly to changing requirements Explore new technologies and domains proactively, evaluate their applicability, and share learnings with the team Analyze complex issues reported from customer or partner sites and drive solutions with minimal supervision Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned technical areas and deliverables Adapt to changing project needs, evolving priorities, and new technical challenges in a fast-paced R&D environment Desired Knowledge & Experience: Solid hands-on experience in software development using Python, C++. Strong experience in developing medical imaging applications ( Experience in MeVisLab is preferred ) Experience with ASP.NET Core and Angular for internal tools or web-based applications 8+ years of relevant industry experience with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering / Master’s degree Strong understanding of DICOM concepts and medical image handling Good knowledge of image processing techniques, including: Coordinate system transformations (voxel ↔ world) Resampling and interpolation Image filtering and basic registration concepts Good understanding of NumPy and Pandas; familiarity with scikit-learn for numerical and scientific computing is a plus Prior experience in the medical domain, especially Computed Tomography (CT), is preferred Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and support others when needed
