Reporting to the Senior Manager Knowledge Management & Learning Enablement, the Learning Designer will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering digital learning experiences that drive performance within IG Group’sCustomer Experiencefunction.



You will use AI-enabled learning platforms and analytics to craft personalised, scalable, and adaptive learning journeys that empower our customer support teams and the wider business to deliver exceptional client experiences and master our products and platforms.

What you'll do


Learning Experience Design



  • Apply evidence-based instructional design frameworks (e.g. ADDIE, SAM, Learning Experience Design) to develop impactful, measurable learning solutions.



  • Design and develop engaging, multimodal content — including eLearning, microlearning, simulations, video, and interactive digital job aids.



  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager Knowledge Management & Learning Enablementto align learning initiatives to global learning strategy and digital learning ecosystem.



AI-Driven Learning Innovation



  • Leverage AI-powered LMS/LXP platforms (such as Sana,LearnUpon, orDocebo) to create adaptive and personalised learning experiences.



  • Integrate AI tools to automate learning reinforcement, content curation, and knowledge recommendations.



  • Use data and analytics to measure learning effectiveness,identifyperformance gaps, and continuously improve learning design.




Stakeholder Collaboration



  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts across Trading Services, Product, Compliance, and Operations to translate complex financial or technical concepts into accessible, engaging learning content.



  • Ensure all learning aligns with regulatory requirements, customer experience goals, and business priorities.



  • Collaborate closely with knowledge managers to ensure alignment between training and real-time knowledge assets.



Continuous Improvement & Future-Readiness



  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, learning technologies, and digital experience design.



  • Champion innovation in learning delivery and contribute to building a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across IG Group.



  • Support experimentation with conversational AI, chatbots, and microlearning automation as part of the wider digital learning strategy.

What you'll need for this role


Essential



  • 3–5 years’ experience in instructional design or learning experience design within a corporate or customer service environment.




  • Hands-on experience with AI-enabled learning platforms (Sana,Docebo, Cornerstone,LearnUpon, or similar).



  • Proficiencywith digital learning tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, or equivalents).



  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to a high standard with attention to detail.



Desirable



  • Knowledge of financial services, fintech, or trading industries.



  • Experience designing customer service or product enablement training for global teams.



  • Familiarity with AI-driven knowledge management systems and conversational learning tools.
