About your role:
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our clients. As a Manager Application Support I, you will lead a team of support analysts to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of critical business applications. Your role will involve overseeing the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, implementing improvements, and collaborating with various teams to enhance application performance and reliability.




What you'll do:



  • Lead and manage a team of support analysts to provide expert-level support for business applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Monitor application performance and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of support activities and procedures.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless application support.

Experience you'll need to have:



  • 6+ years of experience in application support
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL databases
  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:



  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages
