Job Description

Overview Mian purpose: The role is responsible for converting the Site’s Capital plan in next 3-5 years on the basis of priority & strategic needs. Role involves Capital spend right from conceptualization to completion to completion, including business case preparation, Financial Justifications & delivery ensuring compliance to PepsiCo’s Safety & Engineering Standards. Position is responsible for Periodic Assessment of site for key Capital spend in following categories: Capacity Safety Productivity, Sustainability & Quality “asset replacement” and “compliance” to the list of categories Responsibilities Accountability: Demonstrate experience on capital or project program. Demonstrate knowledge on various Safety, Engineering, GMP, Hygienic Design, Flammable and explosive standards (Atex/FM Global),PLC & SCADA control systems, Construction Safety & Pressure Equipment Device Demonstrate basic engineering computer skills (MS Office/AutoCAD/ MS Project) Demonstrate knowledge on Automation in Process industry & Vendor base Compliance to Code of Conduct and PepsiCo values Lead site’s Master Site plan inline to future growth Convert Future Growth Plan to Capital numbers (basis priority) with business rationale & financial justifications right from conceptualization to handover stage. Support plant wide Project teams (on EHS, Recon, Quality, Productivity) taking responsibility for effective execution of each phase of project implementation: Project identification with subsequent scope (URS) and business case preparation Ensure All legal complainces related to Capital projects are compliant i.e Factory Act Related Approvals Preparation of tender packages & follows through to award on cost, quality, timelines, knowledge, Safety etc. Value engineering of proposals & Design qualification Installation & commissioning, Validation Documentation and control of project with Training and hand over Implementation of engineering projects in an operating food plant including responsibility within the project for EH&S compliance, adherence to GMP requirements and management of the project schedule and budget. Work with Corporate engineering in the development and implementation of corporate standards, programs including developing the technical capability within the local facility. Display Controls on Spends Provide technical support to the site as/when required Work with procurement and finance team for 3way match of capex budgeting, capex spend and capitalization Lead the projects to improve the plant quality standards for Plant readiness of AIBI and other quality audits Must own & comply to controls requirements as stipulated by Pepsico Guidelines Qualifications Key Skills/Experience Required: Graduation/ post graduation in Engg with 7-8 years of experience in Project Management preferable with Large FMCG Companies Ability to create and manage budgets Hands on experience on ERPs like SAP, Mapics or Oracle. Differentiating Competencies Required: Knowledge on Project Management Experience of managing suppliers to achieve on-time and on-cost performance Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner, with precise attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Should possess team leading skills with proper knowledge on People processes Must have strong interpersonal skills.
