Job Title: Manager – Learning & Development

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of leadership and behavioural training programs for Chubb Business Services India (CBSI). The successful candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, program management, and facilitation, with a focus on creating engaging learning experiences that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality leadership and behavioural training programs using instructional design techniques and adult learning principles.
- Create engaging learner experiences using gamification elements, interactive simulations, role-plays, case-studies and other innovative approaches.
- Facilitate leadership and behavioural sessions, both in-person and virtually, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and application.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyse data to identify training gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and manage program budgets, timelines, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and relevance of content.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support program delivery.
Role Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in HR, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on leadership and behavioural trainings.
- Proven experience in instructional design, program management, and facilitation.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning technologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Technical:
- Knowledge of e-learning authoring tools and software (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Good knowledge of gamification and simulation-based learning.
- Familiarity with tools like Mentimeter, Kahoot, Poll Everywhere.
- Instructional Design:
- Knowledge of instructional design models and principles (e.g. ADDIE, 6Ds in Learning).
- Experience with learning needs assessment and analysis.
- Ability to design engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Tools: Good knowledge of
- Learning management systems (LMS) such as Workday, Cornerstone, or similar.
- E-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Learning Program Management:
- Program design and development.
- Project management and coordination.
- Budgeting and resource allocation.
- Learning Evaluation and assessment.
- Communication:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
