In Corporate Solutions, we empower our customer’s businesses to succeed through innovative, trusted payment solutions that deliver a seamless digital-first experience around the world. We are disrupting the industry by developing world-class travel and B2B solutions for our corporate clients around the globe.
The Corporate VCN (Virtual Card Number) payments platform provides Issuers and their Corporates the ability to generate Virtual Cards against Real Cards for Corporate spending. It is a highly scalable and customizable solution which addresses cardholder security concerns.
The platform has 3 core service groups:

Role
The role is a Manager – Product management reporting to the Director of Product Management.
Overview
Acts as a business owner and manages long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for a Corporate product.
Roles in this family oversee product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the product’s life cycle, conduct ongoing care and maintenance, and manage P&L.
Responsibilities
Drive tangible data-driven business outcomes at the product level, manage to a quantified scorecard continuously monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators and optimizing product performance
Interpret and apply program vision and strategy to product strategy and roadmap for the Products they manage, clearly communicating it to key stakeholders on an ongoing basis
Leverage the Mastercard “Studio” framework to manage the delivery of ongoing innovation and enhancements to focus Products
Drive a user-centric culture of data driven, test and learn experimentation, continuously assessing and enhancing the Product user experience. Partner with Delivery and Servicing teams (GCC, CTS, Biz Ops) to ensure that Products are easy to deploy and deliver a great experience during operation
Demonstrate depth of knowledge of their Product and the ecosystem in which it operates (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment). Apply this knowledge to the development of winning Product strategies
Demonstrate awareness of Mastercard's broader Product offering and the ability to leverage Products from other business areas to augment Product capabilities
Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and manage any barriers or obstacles to deliver capabilities on time and budget
Work closely with engineering to prioritize features vs modernization \ resiliency items
Understand technical aspects of product ownership to drive conversations and trade offs
Leverage data to quickly identify Product performance challenges, creating proactive plans to drive usage and revenues. Use data-driven analysis to prioritize resources to deliver against the plan
Ensure that the broader Mastercard organization is enabled to sell focus Products by creating compelling communications & marketing content in partnership with Marketing
Lead cross-functional teams in the development of business requirements to achieve Product objectives
Partner with the Guilds to create and share best practices within the Program with a focus on driving continuous improvement in the Program’s operating model
Provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports and partners to grow individual functional skills, experience and leadership capabilities
Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across the Studio framework
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills, and experiences
Develop talent and provide timely feedback, coaching in the moment, and mentoring
Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviours through their behaviour, recognitions, coaching, and employee engagement.
Experiences
Experience building and deploying software to the cloud is required
Experience working directly with engineering teams is required
Experiences that are a plus include:
Product management of Corporate-based applications
Collaboration with design teams or product experience designers
Virtual and/or real card issuance and controls
Experience at or integrating with a credit card processor
Developing API-based product roadmaps
Experience with core Mastercard network
Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment
Can deliver high quality products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
Demonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy
Proven track record of data driven decision making and applying continuous improvement and test and learn methodologies across teams
Extensive experience building and launching products
Comprehensive experience in Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity
Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing executive leadership while commanding the respect of the individual product teams across the organization
Experience translating strategies into product launches and implementation plans in multiple markets
