Job Description

Duties / Key Responsibilities:


Analytics Delivery & Governance


  • Oversee development and delivery of Power BI dashboards across multiple business functions.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise reporting standards, KPI definitions, and visual guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in dashboard usability, performance, and scalability.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnership


  • Act as a senior liaison between business leadership and the Data & Analytics team.
  • Translate strategic business objectives into actionable analytics roadmaps.
  • Manage prioritization of requests across functions, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.

Team Leadership & Capability Development


  • Lead and mentor Analytics Leads and Data Analysts; provide technical guidance and performance feedback.
  • Allocate resources effectively across projects and ensure timely delivery.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and analytical excellence.

Strategic Planning & Process Improvement


  • Contribute to the analytics roadmap in alignment with the Head of Analytics & AI.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and analytics.
  • Support change management and adoption of data-driven practices across the organization.

Qualifications

Experience / Technical Knowledge / Skills:


Must Have:


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7 to 12 years of experience in analytics, BI, or reporting, with 3-5 years in a managerial or team lead role.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance tuning, RLS) including workspace management and access control)
  • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data structures and ETL concepts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of data governance and security practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and coach team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:


  • Experience with predictive analytics or AI/ML concepts.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms across Azure, AWS, or GCP:
    • Azure SQL / AWS Redshift / Google BigQuery
    • Azure Data Lake / S3 / GCS
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and data pipelines (regardless of cloud).
  • Power BI certifications are a plus.

  • Execution Excellence – Deliver projects on time with high quality. Exposure to Agile methodologies; capable of managing sprint-based delivery cycles and tracking task progress through tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Governance & Process Setup - Ability to design and implement gated development processes for dashboards (requirement intake → design → QA → deployment → maintenance).
