Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defense vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and micro grids.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for Diesel System sales to Data Centres in India.
Drive profitable growth & achieve ATS targets
Supporting role for Gas Systems & DRUPS sales in India
Implement strategic initiatives to achieve & improve sales
Manage Project System business
Develop customer specific technical & commercial proposals, drive the negotiation till deal closure
Develop relationship, build trust & Create value for the Customer, Consultants & Channel Partners
Develop, schedule, coordinate & evaluate sales activities to achieve monthly / annual targets
Product presentation to Customers and Consultants
Order processing per internal guidelines and contractual requirements
Coordination with HQ / APAC for necessary support & Reporting.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
BE (Mech/ Elec) + MBA would be added advantage
Relevant years of experience in diesel generators / GAS Generators / Engine sales
Knowledge in Project System DG sets (i.e Balance of Plant & Execution)
Good Commercial acumen
Good communication, Active Listening, Persuasive, Collaboration, Self-Motivating, Problem Solving & Negotiation Skills
Position requires a travel of >50%
