Software Requirements:
- The delivery of the My Access Portal (SailPoint) solution will align to Vision '27 pillars and align strategically to other IAM initiatives.
- The role is to work alongside a team of project managers, control owners and technical specialists to help deliver the MAP strategic tooling, controls and processes.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Oversee and managing the deliverables throughout the MAP Delivery lifecycle, for a dedicated MAP workstream across the HSBC group.
- Work with business and technology owners to define and deliver scope and priorities.
- Provide supporting documentation, regular progress reports and risk and issue management.
- Establish effective working relationships across other areas of HSBC including Product Owners, IAM Stakeholders and IT teams.
- Take ownership of critical issues and ensures resolution within agreed timescales and implements mitigating plans against identified risks and issues.
- Manage the project budget, resources and timeline.
Skills:
- IT project management experience within technical and complex environments.
- Delivery experience within IAM or in the delivery of cyber related projects.
- Experience of delivering significant change projects across technology, people and process.
- Proven track record of working with technical, cybersecurity and/or operations teams.
- Good understanding of IAM products and controls capabilities and requirements.
- Ability to confidently drive and lead geographically disbursed team and pull them together to achieve common objectives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills of both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Positive team player who is able to add value throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Agile and Waterfall (Hybrid) Project Management approaches.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on other technologies.
- Familiarity of working in regulated environments, ideally within the financial sector
- Previous experience of managing projects within an IAM function.
- Previous SailPoint migration experience.
- Experience of working with global teams.
- Experience in Jira and Confluence.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Participating in daily stand-up meetings and project planning sessions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions.
- Writing, testing, and deploying software solutions.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
- Staying current with the latest technology trends and advancements.
- Providing technical support to team members and resolving technical issues.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
