We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join the Marketplace Trust team for its Transparency (TR) charter. Transparency is a product serialization and traceability service that proactively protects brands and customers from defects including counterfeit and materially different products in the supply chain.
As a Marketing Manager for Transparency, you will be responsible to generate, nurture and drive qualified leads into our sales pipeline. You will manage our lead sourcing efforts from end to end, leveraging a variety of marketing channels and directly supporting the local sales team in recruiting new brands on the service. You will also be responsible for developing and driving new leads generation channels. As part of this role, you will collaborate with marketing, sales and product organizations to ensure we promote the service to the right target audience and keep our sales productivity high. You will have an opportunity to shape our brand protection vision through collaboration with industry partners, as well as internal and external stakeholders. Since this is a relatively new space for Amazon, and emerging in the broader retail industry, you will be key to support our sales team in convincing brands to become early adopters of our service. This is a unique opportunity to work in a startup environment within Amazon, contribute to our sales and marketing strategy and take on a leadership role as our team evolves.
Key job responsibilities
- Autonomously drive marketing campaigns, building and driving traffic to high quality content.
- Own our lead generation funnel for brand owners to learn more and easily convert into sales leads. - Develop a strategy to improve our targeting and sales productivity.
- Drive automation activities to improve our conversion through lead nurturing initiatives.
- Define related goals and report on progress as well as operational campaign and project metrics.
- Liaise with local sales teams to plan and execute activities that help them become more efficient.
- Identify other marketing channels, pilot their usage and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with other internal marketing and product teams to find synergies and improve awareness of our brand protection services.

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
