Role Description We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 4 to 6 years' to develop sheet metal components (e.
g., enclosures, electrical panels) and optimize packaging for the e^pump.
You will drive structural and thermal designs that are efficient, cost-effective, and manufacturable while meeting safety and performance requirements.
Responsibilities: Designing for weight, volume, thermal performance, and IP sealing while ensuring serviceability and manufacturability (DFM/DFA).
Performing conceptual designs, theoretical calculations, and tolerance stack analyses.
Developing and executing test plans to validate subsystems and full product performance.
Conducting root cause analyses (RCAs) for issues during testing and field deployment.
Collaborating with manufacturers, assembly teams, and mold designers to refine designs based on feedback.
Documenting the product development cycle from concept to production stabilization (FMEA, DFX, DVP, inspection plans, etc.
). What You Bring: Expertise in structural design, thermal systems, and electro-mechanical packaging.
Strong understanding of fluid systems, heat transfer (conductive/convective), and refrigeration basics.
Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, IP sealing, and optimizing packaging for cost and performance.
Solid knowledge of materials (Metals, Plastics, Composites, Elastomers) and their applications.
Proven experience in taking a product from concept to production, backed by strong mathematical and analytical skills.
