Key Responsibilities:Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead, manage, and train the mechanical maintenance team to ensure high standards of performance and safety.
- Allocate tasks to team members, ensuring proper scheduling and completion of maintenance activities on Granulation J Rotary machines.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback and development opportunities.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Supervise and ensure the preventative and corrective maintenance of Granulation J Rotary equipment and related machinery.
- Oversee and perform troubleshooting of mechanical faults, diagnosing issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and develop action plans to resolve them effectively.
Operational Support:
- Ensure that Granulation J Rotary equipment operates efficiently, meeting production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Work closely with the production and operations teams to optimize machine performance, ensuring timely adjustments and interventions as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all mechanical activities comply with safety regulations and Worley policies.
- Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments to mitigate mechanical hazards.
- Lead by example in promoting safety awareness within the team, maintaining a zero-incident work environment.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, job status updates, and maintenance logs.
- Prepare detailed reports on downtime, maintenance activities, and equipment performance for management review.
- Monitor spare parts inventory, ensure the timely procurement of necessary materials, and manage stock levels to avoid delays in maintenance work.
Continuous Improvement:
- Support ongoing efforts to enhance machine performance and reliability through process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Provide technical input on machine upgrades, modifications, and new equipment installations.
Qualifications and Skills:Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, in a supervisory role, preferably in granulation.
- Experience with Granulation J Rotary machines or similar granulation systems is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, conveyors, mixers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Proficient in the use of mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices for mechanical maintenance.
