Job Description
Our Senior .NET Software Engineers work closely with the architect and team lead to implement new features, remove technical debt, and implement best practices. They are aware of the latest developments regarding coding language, infrastructure as code, automated tests, continuous development, etc.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other software developers, QA engineers, product owners, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain service oriented backend business applications
- Show initiative and motivation to solve problems, adapt to changes, and follow through on tasks
- Work in Agile teams following Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time
- Implement features according to the product owner’s specification
- Making sure stories are in line with DoR and DoD
- Development process in line with CI/CD, as much automation as possible
- Review pull request of the team and give recommendations to improve code quality and best practice
- Effort estimations for new features
- Troubleshooting defects and creating solutions to decrease the maintenance pipe
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in software development
- 7+ years of programming experience with the .NET Framework, .NET Core, Microservices, REST, and C#
- Experience with quality up-front initiatives such as CI and automated unit test frameworks.
- Proficient in object-oriented design and development using software development best practices and patterns
- 3+ years of development experience in a cloud environment and experience working with Azure Microservices
- Familiar with TDD, be able to write unit tests for existing and new code
- The ability to work independently while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort. A can-do person with a constructive mindset, a team player
