Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems while supporting business and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure network security through proper configuration, patching, and access control
• Manage network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Perform network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning
• Work closely with system administrators, security teams, and vendors
• Support cloud and hybrid network environments (AWS/Azure/GCP – if applicable)
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 network support and on-call support when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT.
• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or network administration
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or similar networking devices
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA)
• Understanding of VLANs, VPNs, NAT, QoS, and STP
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of network security principles and best practices
• Experience with Linux/Windows networking is a plus

Preferred Skills 

• Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent
• Experience with SD-WAN and wireless networking
