About the Role
We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead OS stack bring-up and development for cutting-edge CPU architectures. This role involves enabling Linux/Windows/other OS kernels on new silicon and optimizing system-level performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bring up OS kernels (Linux, Windows, or RTOS) on next-gen CPU platforms.
2. Develop and maintain low-level drivers, bootloaders, and board support packages.
3. Debug and resolve kernel-level issues during pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.
4. Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure smooth integration.
5. Optimize OS stack for power, performance, and reliability.
Required Skills
1. Strong experience in kernel development and OS internals.
2. Proficiency in C/C++, assembly, and scripting languages.
3. Hands-on experience with device drivers, memory management, and interrupt handling.
4. Familiarity with CPU architecture, virtualization, and multi-core systems.
5. Experience with silicon bring-up, JTAG, and debug tools.
Preferred Skills
1. Exposure to RISC-V or ARM architectures.
2. Knowledge of secure boot flows and power management integration.
Experience with performance profiling and tuning.
