Partner Management Hub (PMH) is a global organisation with a focus on nurturing our thriving SAP’s Partner Ecosystem. 


We are developing our team to support our Partners to continually grow and enable increased revenue growth. This is an exciting time for the Partner Management Hub (PMH) as the scope and responsibilities are evolving.The opportunity of a Partner Manager (PM) is a highly responsible remote partner management role where the candidate develops and maintains a 1:1 professional relationship with a number of designated SAP Partners.The Partner Manager (PM) role will maintain focus on Partner Activation, executing our Partner’s business plan with SAP & driving the in-direct revenues, increasing partner satisfaction and productivity, while contributing to SAP’s growth strategy. The PM is also responsible for building a network of strong relationships with key stakeholders inside the SAP organisation, to ensure that there is full alignment in development and communication with our partners. 
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS


  • Build an executive level relationship with our Partners, focused on defining and execution of business goals aligned with SAP strategy
  • Have an excellent understanding of the Cloud IT landscape, opportunity, and whitespace in Japan Market Unit
  • Understand SAP’s strategy and key initiatives, translating these as relevant to Japanese Partners
  • Develop a strong relationship with the key stakeholders that operate in Japan Market Unit to support Partners business goals.
  • Execute regular Quarterly Business Reviews with Japanese Partners to review achievement and make changes to future targets if necessary.
  • Coordinate and/or deliver targeted activation to grow and develop your Partners’ business.
  • Orchestrate supporting teams to resolve Partnership queries in Japanese.
  • Drive Business Plan execution and Partner Activation 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES


  • Experience in a previous account or Partner management
  • 3 to 6 Years of work experience
  • Proven experience in one of the following industries:
    • Account Management in the Software / IT Industry sector
    • Professional services & support roles
    • Partner management
    • Pre-Sales
    • Consulting
  • Clear understanding of partnership management in IT space
  • Knowledge of sales/marketing & partner relationship process
  • Demonstrable strong interpersonal and team-working abilities, coaching skills an advantage
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution abilities
  • Strong level of business credibility from the Partner’s perspective
  • Creative thinking, willingness, and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
  • A pro-active and result-oriented team-player with strong communication skills 
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Confidence working across all levels in an organisation and possess strong stature and presence.  
  • Must be highly credible both internally and externally
  • Experience with support systems, message handling and remote communication tools as well as Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Fluency in Japanese Language (Native preferred) a must.

DESIRABLE SKILLS


  • Business/IT Degree
  • Knowledge and broad understanding of SAP portfolio would be an advantage.                   

Work location: SAP Labs India, Gurgaon 


  • Shift Timing: Japan Time Zone
  • Travel: Limited, to corporate events.
