This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 1400000 (ie INR 5-14 LPA) Min Experience: 5 years Location: Mumbai, Bangalore JobType: full-time Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications and database systems Monitor database performance and contribute to optimization and tuning initiatives Analyze requirements, estimate effort, plan tasks/sprints, and ensure timely delivery Review PL/SQL code and enforce coding standards and best practices Collaborate with architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders for solution design and issue resolution Drive continuous improvement in database performance, stability, and scalability Work within Agile/Scrum development methodologies Follow incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL knowledge is a plus) Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Read, understand, and enhance legacy PL/SQL code and complex stored procedures Debug and resolve complex production issues efficiently Perform impact analysis and root cause analysis (RCA) Design secure, scalable, and high-performance database solutions Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications Communication & Documentation Clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Create and maintain technical documentation and design artifacts Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and delivery risks Core Technical Skills PL/SQL Expertise: Writing optimized, modular, and reusable procedures, packages, functions, and triggers SQL Performance Tuning: Query optimization, indexing strategies, and resource management Oracle Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, partitioning, indexing, and storage Oracle Tools: TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL*Loader, OEM, AWR, Explain Plan Development & DevOps Tools: Git/GitHub, Jenkins for version control and deployments Ticketing & Collaboration Tools: JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluence Good to Have Exposure to AWS services Experience working in enterprise production environments Skills PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Database, Performance Tuning, ServiceNow, AWS, Production Support
