Job Description

Job purpose:


  • The Planning Engineer shall be responsible to develop, maintain, track & report project monitoring & control processes for projects and provide planning, scheduling and cost monitoring details for the assigned project.
  • The Candidate shall do necessary coordination with project stakeholders, conduct site visits to verify progress and identify any potential and critical issues, work on organizational strategic initiatives.
  • Shall have basic knowledge of costing, billing and should be capable of billing when needed.

Principal Accountabilities: 


  • Oversee schedule management activities, including review of internal schedules and review of contractor schedules.
  • Design management, procurement co-ordination, review of design, review of BOQs, specifications, preparation of cost estimate, quantity verification,
  • Preparation of reports/presentations/MoM's/ RFPs, co-ordination with various external and internal stakeholders, preparation and tracking of schedule-etc are the day-to-day activities
  • Preparation of all MIS reports.

Qualifications
  • Experience - 9 – 12 years ( Should have worked in airport environment for minimum of 3-4 years)
  • BArch, BE, B.Tech with relevant Post Graduation degree from NICMAR/CEPT/SPA ( Architect is preferred, Masters is must)
  • Experience as project coordinator and planner for various aspects of project and has seen complete project life cycle.
  • PMI, RICS, or AACEI certification will be an added advantage.
  • Computer Skills : MS projects/Primavera, MS Office, Project Management software

Soft skills: a go getter, energetic, keen learner, and hard worker; excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills, people management skills are desired
