The Role


As a Portfolio Manager with Worley,you will be part of the growing team to deliver multiple projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.


  • This person will be responsible for delivery of assigned Program/Portfolio under the specific Customer
  • Provides management, direction and governance for all facets of the various projects under the program.
  • Building relationship with the home offices/Customer site and Engineering center stake holders.
  • Drive Design and Construction Safety culture within the team.
  • Demonstrates full commitment to all health and safety matters and provides safety leadership to project team​.
  • Drive Digital Delivery of the project and Suscap/Brownfield project execution mindset within the team.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure delivery of portfolio /Program in line with the business plan and forecasts.
  • Focus on quality, schedule, cost and HSE aspects of Portfolio.
  • Maintaining compliance of local operations with relevant national legislation and regulations.
  • Identify and implement and innovative and unique strategies including focus on Digital solutions to support the delivery of the Program/Portfolio.
  • Decision maker for Program /Portfolio activities in collaboration with relevant peers and stakeholders.
  • Deliver portfolio outcomes and financial metrics including gross margin, chargeability, DSO, revenue forecast by regular monitoring ofperformance with support from Functional Leaders / Department Managers.
  • Drive lessons learnt workshops, sustainability, value creation in the Portfolio.
  • Ensure right level and skills of resourcing to meet the individual project objectives within the portfolio, mainly focusing on Brownfield projects.

Metrics & KPIs


  • Deliver the portfolio in line with the set KPIs on schedule, cost, HSE, Quality and Productivity
  • Drive Global initiatives withindelivery landscape with a high focus on Digital and Data centric delivery approaches.
  • Lead the Portfolio Team for fit for purpose deliveries meeting with objectives.
  • Digital Solution Implementations aligned to Portfolio Goals and KPIs
  • Resource Forecasting and Planning.

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • 15+ years of relevant experience with minimum 10 years in a project management role
  • A Portfolio /Program delivery-oriented individual with the capability to successfully deliver projects focused on the client’s needs and providing innovative and industry leading solutions to meet the Suscap targets.
  • Continuously seeks new knowledge and openly shares own knowledge to coach and develop others always focused on what is best for Worley; Part of Project Management Council
  • Inclusive and motivational leadership style with creative thinking skills and a focus on challenging norms, bringing innovation to current practices to continual evolve how we meet client needs and contribute to Worley’s financial position.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to develop high performance culture and unlock opportunities.
  • Team player and focusing on collaborative working to deliver common goal
  • Identify benchmarks and develop portfolio plans to deliver competitive advantage
  • Act as key contact on steering committees with home offices and facilitate positive communication.
