About the job:
As a Power Apps Developer / Engineering and Maintenance IT Specialist based in Chennai your role will be part of a team that develops and supports a variety of enterprise applications, with a strong emphasis on Power Apps with both Synapse and Power Platform Backends. Youmust be highly proficient in these technologies and familiar with other Microsoft software development tools.
This role offers the opportunity to work with Power Apps Development, ensuring the development of sustainable and supportable enterprise solutions. The candidate should be committed to continuous learning and comfortable adapting to new technologies as required.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, support and trouble shoot custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Develop detailed documentation/ job aids for MS Power Apps applications.
- Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate.
- Develop and implement data models and visualizations using Power BI.
- Integrate and manage data within Dataverse.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest features and updates of the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
- Collaborate using modern software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum, DevOps, etc.) and tools (Git, Insomnia/Postman, static code analysis, etc.).
- Due to the global nature of the team, the candidate may need to work evening hours to meet with team members in the USA.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering with equivalent software development experience.
- Fluency in English language
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Strong understanding of related databases and data integration.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience in UI/UX design principles.
Preferred Sills:
- General familiarity & experience with Azure Developer services: App services, Functions, Logic Apps, SharePoint, Dynamics 365.
