Job description

  • Design, configure, and maintain PriceFX modules such as PriceBuilder, QuoteConfigurator, and RebateManager to support nVent’s pricing strategy.
  • Develop and implement calculations, logic, data models, and workflows within the PriceFX environment.
  • Integrate PriceFX with SAP ERP, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems to ensure accurate and timely data exchange.
  • Partner with global pricing and commercial teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure, scalable, and high-performance integrations using APIs and middleware.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for existing PriceFX configurations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and process flows.
  • Stay up to date on PriceFX releases, best practices, and emerging capabilities relevant to manufacturing pricing.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience developing in PriceFX or a similar cloud-based pricing.
  • Proficiency in Apache Groovy on Java platform.
  • Experience integrating PriceFX with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and CRM tools (such as Salesforce).
  • Strong understanding of B2B manufacturing pricing models, cost structures, and product hierarchies.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and data transformation processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred:


  • PriceFX certification (e.g., Platform Developer or Configuration Specialist).
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or electrical products industries.
  • Knowledge of pricing analytics, rebate management, or margin optimization strategies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).

  • Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business terms.
