What you'll achieve
As a Principal Systems Development Engineer (Escalation Engineer), you will be responsible for resolving the most complex customer issues and driving product excellence through root cause analysis and best practice implementation. You will work with PowerStore customers, Product teams, and Technical Support on critical escalations that directly impact product success and customer satisfaction. If you're a storage expert who thrives on complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, your place is with the PowerStore Customer Engineering team.
You will:
Apply your technical expertise to resolve the toughest customer issues with urgency and precision
Collaborate closely with R&D and cross-functional teams to resolve customer challenges, gather insights, and transfer knowledge
Identify and provide resolutions to diverse, complex technical problems while documenting best practices
Influence product enhancements and new features that drive PowerStore business growth

Essential Requirements
Bachelors/master's with 8+ years of experience in advanced technical positions (technical support, development, solution engineering, or solution architect) within complex IT environments
Proven track record working directly with customers with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and storage, with solid understanding of broader enterprise IT environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
Hands-on experience with Linux, VMware, Windows Server, plus foundational SAN and networking knowledge
Desirable Requirements
Experience with storage systems, virtualization platforms, VDI solutions (VMware/Citrix), enterprise databases, and storage performance tuning
Scripting capabilities (Python, PowerShell, bash) and database expertise (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Experience with clustering solutions and ability to motivate workgroups and influence cross-functional teams
